All About Leith Walsh, Owner of Twin Heart Healing

Hello and welcome to Twin Heart Healing! My name is Leith Walsh and I am an Angel Healer, Intuitive Energy Healer, Reiki Master, Pilates Instructor and Mother of 3 very exciting kids.

I began practicing Reiki since 2017 and qualified as a Master in 2019, thanks to my beautiful Reiki Master, Sue Morris of Soma & Soul. I am a member of The Australian Reiki Connection Inc. (ARC), the Association of Australian Reiki Professionals and Australia's leading Reiki association established in 1997.  

While initially I practiced solely as a Reiki Healer, I have been on a journey of growth and I now practice what I call Intuitive Angel Healing.  Intuitive Angel Healing is energetic healing method which sprouted from my knowledge of Reiki, but also acknowledges my strong relationship with my Angelic guides, who supervise and assist in every healing. It also encompasses Crystal and Light healing, as well as general New Age and Shamanic practices. Like all of us, it develops and changes all the time.

My path to being an energy healer has taken a few twists and turns, although I was quite spiritually aware as a child and teenager.  However, as I got older "real life" took over and I forgot that side of myself for a few years. In my 20s and early 30s I worked my way up the administration side of the legal world and got caught up in corporate life.  I also travelled and lived overseas before finally settling in Melbourne in 2010.  Like us all, I learnt a few lessons on the way!  Over time, I grew increasingly disillusioned with the legal environment.  I began to feel trapped in that world and disenchanted with the values the various firms espoused.

I had always enjoyed mindful movement, so when I discovered Pilates in 2007 I was hooked straight away, and eventually trained as a Pilates Instructor (I run a small studio at home called Happy Body Pilates).  From the very start this has been such a freeing and enjoyable career for me - and so different from the world of working in an office.  As I learned to relax and work differently, and to be able to actually help people through my work, my awareness started stirring and I slowly opened up again to the more spiritual side of life.

Then in 2017, I fell into energy healing, seemingly by accident (but how much in life is really accidental?). That year I realised I was able to feel the energy of others and wanted to know how to deal with that. I Googled energy clearing and came across Sue.  Before I knew it I had booked a session and was enrolled in Reiki 1 with a friend on a similar path.  Reiki 1 training contained many concepts that left me wondering if I could sneak out early without being noticed.  I thought all this stuff was crazy.  But my soul knew, it pulled me back, and slowly my walls came down, I let go of my ego and learned to believe "six impossible things before breakfast".  I couldn't deny the results either - from the feeling of energy swirling in my palms to the experiences I've had as a client and a practitioner, Reiki and Intuitive Angel Healing have both been wonderful for me and have been key in leading me back to myself.  

Energy work has brought so many amazing things into my life, including massive, (often surprising, but ultimately positive) change.  The more I do, the greater my thirst for knowledge on all things new age and spiritual; and the greater my care and love for the planet and its' people and creatures.  The fact that my job now centres around helping others to heal and find light and joy in their lives is something I am unbelievably grateful for and I am so lucky to be where I am today. I also work with the best team ever!
