21 February 2021: Karmic Lessons Learned

Karmic Lessons Learned, Allowing the Healing Process, and Going Through Towers to Emperor Energy

Just a small check in for the collective as a whole today, starting with the 5 of Air. The 5 of Air showed up around five or six times in the pre-shuffle and then came out in the actual reading itself. This is a card that wanted to come out! It wanted to go at the top of the sequence as a starting point, showing that certain members of the collective are currently going through a lot of conflict and tense situations at the moment.

I am seeing today’s spread as almost a map for growth and navigating a way out of karmic cycles. With this first card, I feel like this is an opportunity for the subject, DM or DF, to learn about dealing with tension and conflicts in a different, higher vibrational way. They need to think about finding ways to set their boundaries and resolve issues in a mature, calm and detached, way rather than being drawn into yet another dramatic, “dirty” (not sure about that word but the guides are telling me to use it) style of argument. That’s karmic interaction, it’s not suitable for divine counterparts any more. The card shows a woman dancing on air and there is a sense of freedom to be found through elevating oneself from the old styles of conflicts (and codependency) that we may have defaulted to in the past. The phrase “rise above” is coming in strong right now. It’s time to rise above and get out of that lower vibrational energy. Step into your divinity.

In the second row we have the 8 and the 3 of Air, and for me this row is the next part of the progression out of karmic cycles. The 8 of Air is once more about freeing yourself, this time from illusion and denial. By gaining clarity we free ourselves from the things that have bound us tightly in the past. And by stepping away from the conflict shown above in the 5 of Air, by elevating ourselves out of lower energies, we can see clearly - we have a bird’s eye view of a situation - and then we can act effectively and correctly. The 3 of Air, which of course is the 3 of Swords in the Rider Waite, speaks of a third-party situation and also in this deck of the natural endings of cycles, generally relationship cycles, whether they be romantic, friendship or career. The card asks us to take a philosophical view of these endings as they are divinely guided and serve the highest good. Someone has been left out in the cold, but by reaching their ending, they are now open to find a better beginning for themselves, in a more resonant situation. The two love birds left behind only have eyes for each other and are in the right place for them. They look like they are in their own little world. There is a hint of new beginnings to grow out of this ending.

So the first three cards to me speak of events leading up to and including an ending of some sort, whether that be relationship, job, or even simply a change in the way we may have been doing things before. Or all of the above. We go through a period of intense conflict and tension, and then, finally having learned enough to change the way we deal with that conflict and tension, we are able to to find the clarity we need to take tangible steps towards what calls us. We are able to see what works and what doesn’t, and to cut the ties that no longer serve, thus completing a karmic cycle with lessons learned.

Once this cycle has been completed we can move onto the third row, with that 4 of Air and 2 of Earth (finally! Not an Air card!). The 4 of Air is a beautiful card, speaking of taking time to recuperate, heal, meditate and rest. It’s not unlike the Hermit and here it is simply an acknowledgement that once somebody has gone through the difficult times and endings described above - the often inflammatory times endured that lead to the end of a karmic relationship or cycle, there is absolutely a need to stop, breathe and take stock before moving forward again. Our vantage point has changed and we need to recalibrate, heal and plan before moving forward. Once that time of healing has realigned us and allowed us to find the balance we need in our lives, the 2 of Earth is about setting up again, laying new foundations. This card brings a sense of an enjoyable, stable life with a good balance between work and play, the idea of doing things that we enjoy and being present in our creativity. It speaks of taking root and being flexible enough to trust the universe and its designs, of settling into ourselves, and taking what comes with gratitude and grace, but also of becoming the creators of our own world and stepping into our divinity.

On the bottom of the deck was one of my favourite cards in this deck, the 2 of Water, which is the 2 of Cups in the Rider Waite, and which speaks of moving into a harmonious relationship, "a loving and lasting connection between two souls". Two happy, calm, loving little fish, swimming together but also doing their thing. Intradependent fish :)

So if you do look at this as a map, or as a journey, you are looking at a DM or DF who is finding (or has found) their way through the conflict, tension and upheaval of ending a karmic cycle, by finally learning to move beyond the mire of drama and codependency. This person then allows themselves a much-needed period of harmony, healing and resetting, before laying the foundations of the life that suits their soul's calling and allows them to be themselves. Lastly, after resting and healing themselves, and finding their place in this new world, comes love. Without the previous steps I think the love might not be as sustainable, and it is important to remember that, if one or both counterparts are currently going through the ending of a karmic cycle, or have even reached the healing and rebuilding phase, they need to complete these phases properly for their own highest good and for the highest good of all parties. In the long run, allowing that extra time makes a better relationship.

I would like to add that the Emperor card came up twice in the pre-shuffle and then turned out to be sitting right underneath that 2 of Cups, and the Tower has just fallen onto the table in reverse as well - so with a bit of luck whoever is going through all the conflict and tension is now through, or nearly through, all of that ugly stuff and ready to start their rebuilding. We have to let them get through the Tower in order for them to become the Emperor. Hope it resonates XX
