Saw DM today and felt the urge to pull some cards, so here you go! I specifically asked for a short reading this time so it’s a general mini reading for the collective. This one feels like it could be relevant for some now, but that it is also indicative for some of where their DM is headed relatively soon - as if they are on the edge of these changes - so please bear that in mind while reading 😊
At the end of the reading I asked for three keywords that cover the whole reading and the words that came through were Love, Commitment and Awareness.
Initially three cards jumped out at once, so I placed them as guided with the Hierophant at the top - this card is a nod to that Commitment keyword with the Hierophant’s connections to commitment, marriage and legality; it’s a mature card and DM has matured through this journey. The Hierophant is also the masculine counterpart to the High Priestess, who came out near the end of my last reading. In that reading we had the DF sitting calmly in her High Priestess energy, not waiting, but allowing DM to do what he needed to while she worked on her own things. (Love that independent woman energy). The Hierophant is a step up for the DM, a step into his power, authority and an Awareness of the more spiritual side of life. He’s not necessarily rushing out to yoga classes and working on his astral projection, but there is an awareness of the connection and and awareness of the hand of the Divine in life. A sense of his soul self as well - DM is feeling the influence of his Higher Self and Guides more, and even though he still may be questioning his own intuition at times, he is opening up. This is big growth. (As an aside I feel like the solstice energies have really boosted everybody’s ascension and I’m sure that they have had a positive affect on the DM collective).
The second card I placed was the Star, which I always see as a wish fulfilment card, coupled with that sense (rightly or wrongly) of the DF as an ideal in the DM‘s mind (I’m not advocating putting DF on a pedestal, but I think we all know how we feel about our counterparts). The lady in this card has one foot on the ground and one foot in the water - she is able navigate the practicalities of life, but is also comfortable in her intuition and the spiritual realms. The Star follows the Tower in tarot and here we have a progression from the previous reading where we saw the DM in the midst of chaos and and trying to find his way out. The Star now heralds a sense of peace after the storm.
There’s quite a lot of water in this reading as, along with the water shown in the Star card, we have the Page of Cups and Ace of Cups - water signs take note. We are in our feels. The Page brings forth creative expression and new adventures, unexpected surprises and messages of Love. In a natural progression the Page moves to the Ace of Cups - the cup of Divine Love, a full cup of promise, flowing creativity and openness to new possibilities and paths, and spiritual awakening. DM has been under siege, locked in chaos, but I’m seeing him/her as a soldier, emerging into sunlight (or Star light) after a battle and breathing fresh air once more. This DM has been through towers and is now stretching his legs and taking tentative steps to new possibilities, with a more mature and awakened mind, lessons learned.
I was going to pull a fifth and final card but then I saw the bottom of the deck and left it there with that Five of Swords. This card tells of a battle ended and an accompanying sense of sorrow and loss. In this particular reading I am being shown that the masculine is actually the person in the space of having come out a “winner” - in the sense that he is freeing himself from a difficult situation and reclaiming his personal sovereignty. Still, even when battles are won, other things are lost. As we know, grief is a natural part of the process when cycles end and in this case, the DM is experiencing and working through a sense of loss, he knows that he has been right to stand his ground and has chosen this battle wisely; he has the outcome he wants. DM is battle-weary and bruised but ultimately positive, and even excited, about the promises his life now holds. ❤️
